RALPH LEACH Obituary

LEACH, Ralph M. A WWII veteran and longtime resident of Malden, died on December 3, after a brief illness. Ralph, 98, is survived by his son, Norvin Leach; grandchildren, Thayer Leach and Finn Leach; his brother, Richard Leach; and several nieces and nephews. He was the husband of the late Norva McGranahan Leach; and brother of the late Emily Bean and Dorothy Sullivan. Born and raised in Bangor, Maine, Ralph served in the 45th Infantry Division in Europe, during the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp. He was a Massachusetts state bank examiner from 1959 to 1998. Ralph was well-loved by his friends, family and co-workers. Always ready with a smile and a story, Ralph was welcome at any gathering and was always eager to meet new people, visit new places and help anyone in need. Services will be private.
