RAYMOND BRADY Obituary

BRADY, Raymond Francis Sr. Of Medford, MA and St. Petersburg, FL, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, November 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Ray was the beloved husband of Maureen (Healey) Brady; loving and devoted father of Raymond Brady, Jr. and his wife, Elaine, of Peabody, John Brady and his wife, Judy, of Medford, Jean Curran and her husband, Myles, of Woburn, David Brady and his wife, Lorraine, of Melrose and Bill Brady and his wife, Julie, of Medford. Ray was the proud and loving "Papa" to Shawn and his wife, Jen, Kristen, Jessica, David, Jillian, Jacqueline, Joseph, MaryKate, Liam and the late Raymond and Brendan. Ray leaves behind his cherished great-grandchildren, Keegan and Callan Brady. He was the loving and devoted son of the late Raymond and Mary (Connors) Brady; brother of the late Jean McKinnon; and brother-in-law of Patricia LaPierre and Joan Killion. Ray leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and lifelong friends. Ray's exemplary work ethic, love and loyalty to his family and friends, coupled with his devotion to his Catholic faith, served as a great example to those who knew him through various stages of his life. After graduating from Malden High School, Ray served in the Army National Guard for seven years, including a period of active duty during the Korean War era. Ray enjoyed a 42-year-long career as a proud member of IBEW, Local 104, working as a Lineman at the Massachusetts Electric Company. Ray was a proud member of the Irish American Club of Malden since its inception. His presence will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have him in their lives. He truly was an incredible man! Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Saturday morning, November 22, from 9am - 11am, at St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am, at the church, directly following the viewing. Services will conclude with Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Raymond F. Brady, Sr. Dello Russo Family Funeral Homes Medford-Woburn
