Pop,

You were a great man who was loved by so many. Your presence was truly comforting to those around you. You were an amazing grandfather and I feel blessed to be your granddaughter. I am thankful for the time I had with you. I will always hold those memories dear to my heart. I will miss hearing your interesting stories and your quick wit. You always knew how to make us laugh. However, I know that you are at peace now and watching over all of us. You will always be in my heart.

Love,
Your granddaughter Catherine

Love.

Dad showed love to so many people in his life. He touched so many people in so many ways.

Whether as a son, brother, husband, father, pop, uncle, godfather or friend he had a special way of showing love. He was able to put people at ease and enjoy his company. He was always there for advice or to lend a hand. He was always quick with a joke and a laugh. People seemed happy to be around him.

He was always a very religious man. He was a true believer in the Catholic faith. He will now be able to see his family and friends that have passed before him. I know he'll be happy there. I know he'll have peace there. And like he showed us here, I know he'll find love there.

Love,

your son John

Ray was a warm, kind and sincere gentleman with quick Irish wit. Nancy was a lucky lady to have been able to enjoy 60 years of marriage with him. Friends since you started dating Nancy and wIth a common birthdate, we always remembered each other's. May God welcome you with open arms and may He bless your family always.

Dear Pop,
I want to start by emphasizing how you were beyond amazing not only as grandfather but also as a human being. I have nothing but fond memories of you. Of your sense of humor, of your kindness, of your hugs, of your laughter, of your smiles, of your jokes, of your sarcasm, of your love of sports, of your liking of pepsi and lemonade (even the pink lemonade at outback steakhouse) of your presence, and of your love. A moment in my life that I will never forget, is when I came out to you, and you held my hand, looked me in the eyes and told me you loved me no matter what. I cannot begin to describe how comforting and life-defining that moment was for me. You were truly a man of faith, family, and love and I am so grateful I got to know you these first 22 years of my life. I know you are no resting in peace and watching over me and all of your loved ones. You had such an impact on so many lives. Thank you for being you. I love you forever Pop.

Love,
Julia

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ray. I have fond memories of Ray when the Hegarty clan was invited to spend a day at your Mom and Dad's house and we all sang while your Mom played the roller piano. May you Rest In Peace. Love from your cousin. Mary. Hegarty

To our dear sister Nancy, and our much loved nieces and nephew Kathy, John, Carolyn, and Jenni;
Our hearts join you in mourning Ray. We loved him very much. It is so sad when a loved one passes, but also joyful in knowing he will be with our God. Bless him on his journey and during his big reunion with family and friends in Heaven.
Sending love and prayers to you all.

On behalf of the family of Ed and Zena Merullo, I want to offer sincere condolences to Nancy and family for the loss of your dear Ray. My dad enjoyed a long business and personal relationship and I have a fond memory of a day together on St. Pete Beach when my husband enjoyed some cribbage with Ray. Our mom passed on November 24, 2021. Peace to all.
