Regina A. "Gina" Boyland

BOYLAND, Regina A. "Gina" Of Chelsea, on September 24. Devoted mother of Sean Denis Boyland. Beloved companion of Stephen Woodward. Loving daughter of Denise M. Boyland and the late William Edward Boyland. Dear sister of Nancy Boyland, Rita Moore and her husband Len, Andrew Boyland and his wife Patricia, Mary Perron and her husband Henry, Christine and Jane Boyland, Also survived by several aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Harvard College graduate, Regina worked for many years at the Division of Continuing Education at Harvard University. From there, she devoted herself full-time to her true passion of working with the disadvantaged and refugee populations. She was a volunteer coordinator for a local soup kitchen, and most recently the activities coordinator for a homeless shelter. She was an active member of St. Rose Parish and dedicated participant in numerous outreach programs throughout the Boston area. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, CHELSEA on Wednesday, October 1 at 11 AM. Interment will be private. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
