I once owned an Italian racing bike that I wanted to try and sell on this newfangled thing called "EBay." I sought Rich´s help in this new venture. He helped me describe, package and ship it to its proud new owner - in Tokyo!
We both shared a good laugh over this unexpected, extraordinary occurrence.
What an exceptional man and truly good human being this man was. He and his business - a reflection of his overall goodness - will be sorely missed.

Richard fitted me for bikes and repaired my bikes for many, many years. He was always such a pleasure to be around. He always was upbeat and brought joy. He was just a wonderful man. My heart breaks to learn of the family's and community's loss. We will all miss you, Rich.

For over 35-years Rich was so wonderful as he helped keep my bikes and our biking world happy and I am so sad we will no longer see his wonderful smile in our community. His calm demeanor however lives large in the remarkable staff at Community Bicycle. Thank you, Rich
