A Great man in ALL WAYS and a mentor to more than the athlete. I first encountered Mr. Fletcher sporting his mustache in 1973, played for his Championship team 1974-75 which later made up the majority of the NN TIGERS Super Bowl team 1977. He coached All City All Star hockey teams (Suburban League) with little John in net at our practices. He also officiated many games around New England. He was a great gymnastics coach as well.
Like many , I have many great moments, exchanges, bus, car rides, speeches, teams and experiences with Dick Fletcher. I´m Honored to have crossed paths with Mr. Fletcher, really blessed.Mr. Fletcher produced many of Champions in life.
Dick Fletcher was and his legacy remains ,
" A SUCCESSFUL MAN!"

I will always remember Coach Fletcher for the lessons he taught us far beyond the game! How to work hard, stay humble and show up for others. His influence has stayed with me throughout my life. I'm grateful to be one of his students and player. He was the epitome of a coach and a man. My condolences to his family.
