RICHARD C. HEGENBERGER

HEGENBERGER, Richard C. Age 78, of Scituate, passed away peacefully, on November 12, 2025, at the home of his daughter, Lisa, in Rockland. A proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Richard enjoyed a long career with the U.S. Postal Service. A lifelong Scituate resident, he was an avid Boston sports fan, fisherman, and boating enthusiast who cherished time with his family. Born on February 27, 1947, he was the son of the late Lorraine (Boudreau) and Carlton Hegenberger; and brother of the late John and Lorraine (Rainie) Hegenberger. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Mariano and her husband, Michael, of Rockland; his children, Anna Hegenberger and Erik Sepeck; cherished granddaughter, Rachel Cardile of Rhode Island; and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Rose Bryant; siblings, Paul, Leann and Carla Hegenberger of Florida; and sister-in-law, Debra Casey Hegenberger. He is also survived by his former wife and best friend, Marie Cunningham, of Rockland. Visiting Hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, HANOVER, on Thursday, November 20, from 4-7pm.
