RICHARD P. IERARDI

IERARDI, Richard P. Of Weymouth, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2018. Born in Boston, a son of the late Dominic and Anna (Pascarelli) Ierardi, Richard had lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Weymouth. He was a graduate of Boston Technical High School and a 1955 graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for 40 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Civil Engineer. An avid Red Sox fan, Richard enjoyed always watching the games and many times always could be found with his favorite Red Sox jacket and cap on. He enjoyed gardening and many trips to Florida and Cape Cod with his family. Richard loved being with his family and would always cherish the great times with his two beautiful grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him. Proud veteran of the United States Army. Beloved husband of Evelyn H. (O'Brien) Ierardi. Loving father of Christopher J. Ierardi and his wife, Kristina, of Bourne, and Michelle A. LeBlanc and her husband, John, of Plymouth. Proud Papa of Hannah LeBlanc and Eric Ierardi. Brother of Judith Camelio and her husband, Augustus, Esq., of Milton. Brother-in-law of Monica O'Brien of Hanson, and the late Joseph O'Brien and Louise Anne Reid. Dear friend of John, Walter, Albert, George, and the late Ed. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. South Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the Funeral Home at 9:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
