Dear Ben and David,
Yesterday I learned of your father's passing. Today is Thanksgiving and I suppose there's no better time to add to chorus of hundreds saying "He was my physician and took exceptional care of me for many years."
I'm at a loss to express gratitude for his comprehensive, ahead of the curve, above & beyond, holistic approach to women's health -- my health!
He spoke lovingly of the two of you. Certainly, this is not surprising but I hope that it's nice to hear. (I also hope he was able to return to visit Italy during his brief retirement.)
Please give my best to Jeanne.

A gentle giant, Dr Krikorian was a thoughtful and highly professional physician, who built trust with patients through warmth and rapport. His respect, candor and thorough recommendations kept us well informed, offered comfort and gave the knowledge and confidence to choose well. It’s rare to have such two-way trust. I miss his expertise and candor.

It is never too late to hear how wonderful your Dad was although I'm sure I don't need to tell you as you had the pleasure of having him as your Dad. He made the world a better place. He was my doctor for many years. I had always wished he could have been my primary care as he had the kindest warmest personality of any doctor I've ever met. Bless you all.

I am so very shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of Dr. Krikorian. He delivered all 3 of my healthy children and literally saved my life during one birth. I owe him my deepest gratitude. He was the best doctor I have ever had and I will miss him terribly. Always there to listen and treat me as a whole person. He was one of a kind. My deepest sympathies to his family who he adored.

As many of the recent posts, I just saw this today and am so so saddened. I moved to Central Mass a couple of years ago and some pre-surgery bloodwork revealed a potential issue that I needed to contact the office for. Devestated to not to hear Jean's lovely voice answer the phone and then to hear of Dr. K's passing. I was a patient for 20 years and he was such a wonderful doctor and human being, kind and compassionate he truly cared for every patient. God Bless You Richard Krikorian you were a special man and I will miss you.

Dear Ben, David and family,
I am guessing that I most likely have one of the largest patient files from your Dad's practice. He was my doctor for over 35 years (from back in the days at Univ. Hospital), and he delivered 2 of my 3 children. I just learned of his passing today, and I am beyond heart broken that he is gone, and that I was not able to pay my respects to both of you. He talked about you both so often - and so proudly. He was a wonderful man and a wonderful doctor. I cannot put into words how sorry I am for your loss - and much I will miss his kind face and his sense of humor. I will think of him every time that I make chocolate chip cookies (that I used to bring in for him) - and that I bake on the baking sheets he bought me as a gift. My deepest condolences.

I am so deeply saddened to read this. I am typing through tears. I was a patient of Dr Krikorian's for nearly 17 years. His retirement was announced so suddenly that I never got to say goodbye. Life marches on and I got so busy that I hadn't even given my female health much of a thought til today. When I googled him to see how I could say hi and saw this obit. my heart broke.
I adored him and I know he adored me too. I always felt heard and that he really truly cared about teaching his patients beyond just the exam and labs. I don't think I will ever have such an incredible relationship with a doctor as I did with Dr K. I learned so much through him. He wasn't just my physician, I considered him a trusted confident and adviser. One lesson that will stay with me til I am no more...even the most beautiful people look less than when they slouch. :)
The light in my world is a little dimmer now knowing you are not in it Dr K. I will miss you. Thank you for always being there for me through marriage, divorce, dating and always asking the hard but important questions and not letting me squirm off the hook.
Peace,
Jennifer who will be sitting tall forever in memory of you.

I was a patient of Dr. Krikorian's at Mt. Auburn in my twenties. He was absolutely a star physician. Smart, a tremendous sense of humour, dashing, compassionate and kind. I am very sorry to hear about his loss. There are few physicians who can compare. He went above and beyond for his patients. He was present, listened, and was genuine as well as being a consummate professional. A true loss. Condolences to his family.

David and Ben: after just now learning of your dads passing, it is with a very heavy heart that I am sending this condolence. Your dad was a very special man, I got to know him early on in my career. We shared many great conversations. I alway enjoyed being in his company. He will be one of those friends that will always stand out as a good person doing whatever he could to help other people. He will be missed and by me not forgotten. I believe as others do, he was a man of compassion. I am proud to call him my friend.

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Dr. K and I both attended the same high school. During my employment at MAH, we shared many stories and had many good laughs! I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Krikorian. He was an extraordinary physician. His humor and charm served him well. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.

May I just say you rarely find a physician so caring and kind as Dr Krikorian. As someone previously expressed, you looked forward to your appt's with your dad, he so proudly shared stories of his family and you would always see the love in his eyes he had for each of you. Medicine changed over the years yet his compassion and caring for his patients never did, he had the best bedside manner any patient could ask for.. The world has lost a great man and caregiver. RIP Dr. K.

Your dad was my doc for my entire adult life and delivered all four of my babies. He cared for me as a person and as a patient - he planned vacations and personal events around my deliveries...in fact, with my second pregnancy, we thought I was very close and he sent me home expecting to be called in that night. Around 8:00 he called me and said "I have a date tonight, should I cancel?"... such a calm presence and a gentle soul. I am so sad - I always thought I would see him again at some point. Please know that he told his patients about you - loved what you were both contributing to this world. He was a proud dad. Thinking of you.

Benjamin, David & Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was my Doctor for over 20 years and I truly loved him. Not many people can say they enjoyed going to the Doctors but I did because I enjoyed listening to the stories about the both of you and the grandchildren, his studies in Italy , the Coast Guard ( my Husband just retired after 26 years). My parents were both from Italy so he would love to talk about the different meals my Mother would prepare for us growing up . He delivered 4 of my 8 children and helped me so much with my children that I had lost . He was an incredible Physician and friend with the best bedside manner that I have ever seen. I will treasure all the times he visited me after I had my other children and he was no longer practicing as an ÔB and we would have a sandwich together or a donut . All of my family and friends knew about him from either meeting him at Mt Auburn or hearing me talk about him. I will miss him so much and will pray for all of you . He loved you so very much . Dr K was the best ..
