Richard Springham Obituary

Of Marshfield, formerly of Newton Upper Falls, August 20, 2007. Beloved husband of Jean E. (MacDonald). Son of the late John Harold and Elizabeth G (Duffy) Springham. Brother of the late John H. Jr. and Robert T. Springham. Also survived by many nieces and one nephew. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday August 24 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Dicks name may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph, Bethany Healthcare Facility, 97 Bethany Rd, Framingham MA 01701. Late graduate Newton South HS Class of 1964, US Navy Vietnam War veteran, member of Teamsters Local 25 and the American Legion. Dick enjoyed softball and was a sports fanatic. Mr. Springham,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
