I just heard of the passing of Dick. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember what a fun and loving man he was. Besides being my childhood dentist, I know he was a wonderful family friend.

Dr. Winer was a great man. I knew Dr. Winer my entire life and never once did he not take the time to sincerely ask how I was and what was happening in my life. Of all the wonderful things that Dr. Winer was, the thing that stands out to me the most was his role as a teacher. Dr. Winer demonstrated how a gentleman carries himself at all times, how a friend is always a friend even when great distance, time and even generations grow between you.
Mrs. Winer, my simple words cannot heal the loss of such a man. Please know that I loved Dr. Winer and the world is better because of him as is everyone that he touched.

The community and his family lost a fine man. My Dad- Buddy-worked with Dick for many years at the Temple. I shall remember him as my dentist and friend to my family.

Richard was an important part of our community and all who knew him are truly saddened by the passing of this wonderful man with a big heart. Always with a warm smile and a kind word, he was a mensch. Our deepest sympathy to his wife of 56 years, Dorothy, and to the rest of his family. May his memory be for a blessing.
