ROBERT A. "BOB" GREGORIO

1957 - 2018

GREGORIO, Robert A. "Bob" 61, of West Chester, PA, and formerly of Chelmsford, passed away on April 17, 2018. He was born in Methuen on February 2, 1957 and was a son of Anthony S. Gregorio and the late Ellen C. (Carr) Gregorio. Bob was a 1975 graduate of Chelmsford High School. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with an Engineering Degree and completed their ROTC program. He was then commissioned 2nd Lt in the U. S. Army and proudly served his country for seven and a half years attaining the rank of Captain. Bob was a true outdoors person who enjoyed hiking, rappelling, scuba diving, and geocaching. He was a longtime member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. Bob was also extremely skilled with his hands, a trait he learned while watching his Dad. He was always adept at performing his own plumbing, electrical and carpentry work. He employed these skills to design and build his own house on a plot of land he purchased in western Massachusetts upon his discharge from the Army. Bob was a devoted son to his Mom and Dad, a great brother to Stephen and Kevin and a loyal and trusted friend to his many acquaintances. Bob leaves his Dad, Anthony Gregorio of Chelmsford, brothers, Steve of Chelmsford and Kevin and his wife Georgianna of Brooksville, FL, his four nephews, Matthew, Michael, Daniel and Samuel and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Beverlyanne Gregorio. Visiting Hours: Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11 o'clock. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Funeral Director Paul A.
