ROBERT STANLEY LEVINE

LEVINE, Robert Stanley Of Rockland, formerly of Wakefield, on January 21, 2023, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Beverly (Issokson) Levine for 52 years. Devoted father of Amy Levine. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin and Nathan Hildreth. Loving brother to the late Melvin Levine, Elden Levine, and Arnold Levine. Also left to cherish Robert's memory are many loving nieces and nephews. Robert received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University, and continued his education at Northeastern to eventually earn his Masters of Science degree and Masters of Education degree. He received his Doctorate of Education from University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Robert had an illustrious career in education for close to 40 years. He began his career as a teacher at Rockland High School, eventually becoming principal of Rockland Junior High School and the Esten Elementary School. Robert was a proud and decorated veteran of the U.S. Army and the Massachusetts National Guard/Yankee Division, serving for close to 40 years. His dedication to the school system will not be forgotten, and he will be sorely missed. A Graveside Service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA, on Tuesday, January 24, at 9:45am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name may be made to Congregation Sha'aray Shalom, 1112 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043 or a charity of your choice.
