MARINO, Robert C., Sr. 84, of Plymouth, died Jan 13, 2009. Retired MBTA employee, U.S. Navy Veteran. Survived by his wife Joan, two sons: Robert C., Jr., of Malden, John of Lynn and a daughter Carol Carpenter of Port Charlotte, FL; three brothers: Lawrence, Wally and Richard, three sisters Marjorie Fisher, Louise Remillard and Grace Coombs, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a large extended second family, the O'Connors. Visitation from 2-5 PM Thursday with Services at 10:30 AM Friday at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, SANDWICH. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association. www.nickerson

Joan, we extend our deepest sympathies to you at this time, as well as to Dad, Uncle Bobby and Aunt Carol. Papa will be greatly missed by so many people. I have wonderful memories of visiting "the Cape" as a child to see Papa. It was always a fun trip to visit him!
I also have nice memories of visiting both of you in Florida.
