ROBERT MONTGOMERY Obituary

MONTGOMERY, Robert J. Of Weymouth, formerly of Randolph, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2021, at the age of 86. Born and raised in Boston, Robert graduated from English High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Until retirement, Robert worked for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier. He was avid golfer and enjoyed reading. Robert was a big New England sports fan. He was a film buff and loved watching new movies whenever he could. Robert was a devout Catholic and man of strong faith. Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (Molinari) Montgomery. Loving father of Pamela Montgomery of Quincy, Mark Montgomery of Weymouth, David Montgomery of Franklin and the late Robert D. Montgomery. Dear son of the late Joseph and Helen (Fitzgerald) Montgomery. Devoted brother of Leo Montgomery and his wife Mary of Abington, Joan Mahoney of Randolph. Brother-in-law of John and Cindy Molinari of KY and the late Dennis Mahoney. Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Jackson and Lauren Montgomery.

A Private Visitation period will be held on Saturday, March 13th, in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28), RANDOLPH, immediately followed by a Graveside Service at 12:00 PM in St. Mary Cemetery, 245 North St., Randolph. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. All are welcome and invited to attend the services at St. Mary Cemetery.
