ROBERT "BOBBY" NOONAN

ROBERT NOONAN Obituary

NOONAN, Robert "Bobby" A lifelong resident of South Boston, passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 84. Bobby was predeceased by his father, Francis Noonan, and his mother, Mary Noonan. He is survived by his siblings, Paul Noonan of Manassas, Virginia and Carol Frasca of Marshfield, as well as many nieces and nephews. Also affectionately known as "Chick" to his many friends, he was a talented athlete and was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame. Bobby loved the ocean and spent most of his free time at Carson Beach and walking around his beloved Southie. Services will be private. Donations in Bobby's name can be made to the Catholic Charities Labouré Center at https://www.ccab.org/donate

Sorry too hear about Chicken being called too Heaven we hung around on O and second street he was a good friend i have not seen him in many years i remember playing baseball with him few times up M st park he Pitched i was the catcher he was awesome athlete in any sport he was involved in Football baseball etc Rest in peace my friend till we meet again

Chick, sorry to hear of your passing.
You were the best fast ball pitcher in Boston during the 60's and 70's.
I miss the competition and commadarie,playing with you on your team and against you.
