I am so sorry to hear of Robin's passing. She was a beautiful person who impacted many lifes - especially in the deaf community , including schools. I was her supervisor for several years when she was at Beverly School for the Deaf . She was such a caring person to all. If there was a need she met it! She even got her family invoved - when our dorm closed it's doors, one of our students needed Beverly School for the Deaf but lived too far away to commute. Robin and her family took her in so that she could complete her education ! Although I am sure there were days she wasn't feeling well, she always had a positive attitude and a smile - especially for the students and staff she worked with. And in everything she did, she was honest and professional! She will be missed by many. and my deepest sympathy to her family and friends, Alice Gabriel

How sad to hear the news that this beautiful, intelligent and sensitive young woman is no longer with us. Tho we have not seen Robin in several years, she was never forgotten by her friends at New England Homes for the Deaf. Her work with Deaf Seniors leaves a great legacy. My thoughts and prayers are with you Rick and her beautiful girls.

We have so many wonderful memories of the vibrant and incredible woman who was Robin. Her attitude was always one of hope and positive energy toward everyone and everything she interacted with. Her legacy is strong and her spirit will be with us for our lifetime. While her passing has left a deep emptiness in so many lives, may the ardency with which she lived her life remain alive in all of us who loved her. Wishing you all strength, love and peace in the days ahead.

Many years ago, I had the opportunity to watch Robin work with a traumatized child who, at age nine, was just learning to sign. Robin's kindness and patience enabled that child to feel less afraid and begin to share her history for the first time. It was very moving to watch her. Robin had a beautiful and loving soul. She left much too soon.

Rick, It's been so long since I've seen you or Robin. The last time was eons ago when you gave her that red sweater that I made for her. She was such a glorious spirit. Even though I didn't know her well, I could tell that right away. I am so sorry. You have my deepest condolences in this very sad time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't been in contact with Robin for a number of years, but we'd seen each other and talked over the years in the world of providing services to deaf folks and their families, at the UU church, and in the world of making art. I admired her sense of purpose, her integrity in following her heart as she changed directions in her life, focusing on making art and having time to be with her family. I last remember her soulful images of the salt marshes. She's still a presence in her absence.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Silverman family. Robin was a very special person.
We first met her at Beverly School for the Deaf where our son Andrew attended. She was his counselor and teacher for many years. We stayed in contact and visited her at her studio. Robin was always so happy and enjoyed her work and life. I have walked in the NSMC cancer walk for years and Robin was always there to help with a donation. She was such a generous and thoughtful person and it showed through in her daily life. She will truly be missed by our family and she will ALWAYS be in our hearts.
We love you Robin ,Rest now
With our Sympathy
