Of Woburn, Monday, July 8th. Beloved son of the late Frederick J. and Alice E. (French) Rideout. Dear brother of Jim Rideout and his wife Lori of RI and Larry Rideout and his wife Patty of Woburn. Cherished uncle of Kristen Lampedecchio and her husband Mario, Lisa Rideout and her fiance C.J. Mulcahy, Nicole Rideout, and Aimee Rideout. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service at Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St, WOBURN on Friday, July 12th at 11:30 a.m. Calling hours on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Rod, I miss you my friend. You were truly the salt if the earth.
We last parted after you took me to a Bruins game before I moved to Taiwan in late 2004.
We got to celebrate the Pat's, Sox 2004, and later the Celts 2008 on one of my returns.
You brought the Sox home from heaven in 2013, and your working the Celtics in 2024. I knew you would be a strong angel for all of us.
I love you and thinking of you today, and often.
