Dear Balise Family,
I knew Ron from the cleaners I work at. He always had a kind word for me as my own husband was going through cancer treatments. He helped me keep strong for my own family. Ron stopped by to tell me he was heading to Florida to be with you all, and I just wanted to say how much I admired him and how his courage and will to beat this, strengthened me. My love and prayers to all of you in this time of sorrow.

I am a co-worker of Ron. I didn't work with him very much, but I did manage to speak with him from time to time over the years. I found him to be always kind, considerate, and respectful. Really very basic traits, but so important in building relationships. I found him inspirational in that respect. He reminded me of my own father in that way. True gentlemen. Ron thankyou for your guidance and being a decent person.

I had the pleasure of working with Ron for many years at Inskip.
He became a true friend that made such an impact on my life. You know how throughout your life you have many jobs and come across many people...well, Ron was one of those people that really cared! He held so much compassion in his heart. He deeply appreciated every effort or understood any concerns. He had a sense of humor that could light any room. I will forever hold his memories in my heart! I cant stop thinking of all those things he would say to me that just made me smile. He truly was a strong man, a proud marine, a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa. My prayers are with you, Ron, and your family. You will always remain a part of my life. Peace and Love Always, Jen xoxox

Ron was a man that could bring a smile to anyone's face and could turn a bunch of co workers into a family. There are not many people as tough or brave as he was. His mental strength is a true inspiration to myself and many other people around him. My deepest sympathy to the Balise family.

Dear Sue,

Al gave me the bad news, about Ron, over the weekend. I'm still stunned at the tragic outcome of Ron's valiant battle against cancer. He was so determined to beat it that he had me convinced that he would, too. All along, others and I had been in his corner, silently cheering him on and wishing for the best, as fellow Marines are inclined do for each other.

With the realization that there's not much one can say or do at a time like this to ease your pain and sorrow, please know that you have our most heartfelt condolence, as we share that grief with you.

Please extend our deepest sympathy, as well, to Greg, Kerri , and any other family members with whom you are in contact.

God bless,

Mrs Balise,
i've know Ron 8 years at Inskip. He is one of the best, honest people i have ever met. I am deeply saddened on the news of his passing, when i talked with him the last day at Inskip i told him I would pray there was a miracle out there for him. I would sit with him quite a few times when he first was diagnosed with the cancer. He would tell me he was going to fight to the end and he certainly did.
I could go on for hours to tell you how great a man he was but, I know you and your family already know.
Please except my deepest sorrow for you and your childrens lost.
I'm sure he is in a better place.
