RUDY DORMITZER

1977 - 2015

DORMITZER, Rudy 38, formerly of Milton, passed away on December 25, 2015. Born November 21, 1977, Rudy leaves behind his mother, Madeleine Dormitzer, his sister, Kristen and her husband Scott and their son Jackson, his father, Gregory Dormitzer, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Rudy was gifted in many ways and from an early age displayed a love and talent for music, especially the piano. He will be remembered for his unique perspective on the world that manifested itself in his independent spirit, his sense of humor, and his passion for interests that included the welfare of animals and people less fortunate than he. More recently his goal had been to climb the 7 highest mountains in the world of which he had completed two: Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Elbrus. Rudy has now climbed his final mountain. Visiting hours at Dolan & Chapman Funeral Home, 5 Canton Avenue, MILTON VILLAGE, Wednesday, December 30, 5-8 PM.
