I will miss your visits when you came into the office at Comcast. You waiting for me to pay your bill and enjoyed our conversations. You will be missed. You walked from the train station to pay your bill and to tell me that you were sick and I drove you to stop and shop not knowing that was the last time I would see you. I will treasure the deep conversations we had during your final time on earth - and moments as you slept just sitting by your bedside, holding your hand, praying. I felt blessed to be there Monday when Fr. Mark arrived with Rosemary to administer the Blessing of the Sick & give you special absolution. It comforts all of us to know your devastating illness is over, and your spirit is now sharing eternal peace and rest with our brother/your nephew, Stevie, your parents and brother, Carl & sister-in-law Alvie, your cousins Helen, Herb, Oscar & Fritz, and great nephew Jason & great niece Baby Diana! We'll always miss you, dear Uncle Rudy, and will never forget you. We'll all remember you with a toast at Christmas dinner.
