Dear Linda, Ronnie and Nancy,
I was deeply saddened to receive the sudden and unexpected news re your dear Mother's passing. I lived for many years on your street beside the "Sullivan" family. My maiden name is Rose (Melin) Pope. Your Mother was a wonderful person who I have kown from Arlington High School, many years ago. She was always, thoughtful, kind and giving. When my own dear Mother passed away in July 1975 and then when Dad passed in April 1985, your Mother was "there" for me and my son "Matthew". I remember you, Ronnie, giving Matt your "Pink Panther" for comfort and your Mom brought Matt down to Spy Pond, where he picked dandilions to give to me on that sad day when his Grandfather (my dad) passed away.
I will remember her in my prayers always. She was so very proud of all of you. I am only so sorry, that I did not get the opportunity to visit with her. We were both looking forward to that. Keep me posted especially you, Ronnie for I still hope to visit in Arlington and I will drop in to see you.
In the meantime, stay strong and remember the good times and keep her proud!
'til we meet again.

Love,

Rose (Melin) Pope
