Stames Vranas Obituary

Of Melrose, formerly of Lee, November 18, 2007. Devoted husband of Mildred (Abele) Vranas with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Loving father of Susan Cinella and her husband, Edward of Melrose and Diane Vranas and her husband, Ken Kwalik of Saratoga Springs, NY. Brother of Katrina Vranas Bradley of Pittsburgh, PA and the late Vasiliki Vranas Bradley, Nicholas, Elias, Andrea and Joseph Vranas. Grandfather of Lisa D'Ampolo and her husband, Michael of Saugus, Denise Kaliris and her husband, William of Melrose, Steven Cinella and his wife, Mariann of Medford and Kelley Piscitelli and her husband, Travis of Summerville, SC. Also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., LEE, MA Saturday, November 24 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 PM. Gifts in Stames' memory may be made to the First Congregational Church, 25 Park Place, Lee, MA 01238, or Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114 or Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center, 90 Hospital Rd., Malden, MA 02148.
