Stephen Anderson Obituary

ANDERSON, Stephen Gary Of West Newton, April 23, 2010. Beloved husband of Sarah Jane (Wyrick) Anderson and loving father of Sage Anderson of Brooklyn, NY and Sven Gustav Anderson of Dublin, Ireland. Also survived by his parents, Hobart and Florence Anderson of Sayville, NY, his sister Carol Anderson-Hoffmann and her husband Wayne Hoffmann of Sayville, NY, nieces Chelsea Hoffmann, Rebecca and Olivia Wyrick and nephew Benjamin Wyrick. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30 at 2PM at The Second Church in Newton, 60 Highland St., West Newton, followed by interment in Newton Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 12:30PM until the time of service. Mr. Anderson was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Vernon Cancer Center c/o the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Charitable Foundation 2014 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02462 or to the American CancerSocietyat www.cancer.org.
