I had the privilege of taking the "Rock History" course from Steve at Berklee College of Music Online. He loved my writing style, which I took as a great compliment, and I loved the weekly Zoom class when we could talk all things 'rock n roll'. R.I.P. Professor.

This is sad news.
Stephen was a knowledgeable and open-minded journalist who helped to promote the careers of many aspiring new musicians. He will be missed.
