Of Norwell, formerly of Milton, May 22, 2004. Beloved husband of Kimmy (Zapustas) Trapilo. Loving father of Jordyn Trapilo, Devyn Trapilo and Ozzy-Dean Trapilo. Cherished brother of Robert Trapilo of FL, Richard F. Trapilo of Milton, Susan Trapilo of Scituate, and the late Wallace Trapilo Jr. Son of the late Wallace and Victoria F. (Lakis) Trapilo. Uncle of Michael, Nicole, Kristin, and Ricky Trapilo, Olivia and Riley Zapustas and Baby Lauren Kimberly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in McNeice Pavilion at Boston College High School, 150 Morrissey Boulevard, Dorchester, Wednesday, May 26 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Tuesday 3-8 p.m. Interment Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen's memory may be made to The Stephen Trapilo Boston College High School Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Boston College High School, 150 Morrissey Boulevard, Dorchester MA 02125. I met Steve while at Planet Fitness in 1995. He was one of the best people. I remember how much time he spent, talking about playing for the Saints and the glory days of B.C. football. I was thrilled and in awe. Yet he was so down to earth and good to everyone. I still have the autographed picture he gave me. He didn't have to spend so much time with all of us, but meeting and talking with him, meant alot. I'll never forget him or his kindness.

my son, William Smithers played football with Steve at BC. Wallace took my wedding pictures and presentation pictures. I am saddened to hear of Stephen's passing. I remember him dearly.
