SYLVIA RANIERI Obituary

RANIERI, Sylvia J. (Lambert) Of Wellesley Hills, February 27th. Beloved wife of the late Celestino T. "Sonny" Ranieri passed peacefully Monday morning, after living a beautiful 97 years. She was married to Sonny for 67 years and we believe that she has joined him once again after missing him these past 11 years. Born in Wellesley Hills, Sylvia was the daughter of the late Antonio and Civita (Cipriano) Lambert. She was the final living child of Antonio and Civita's 11 children. We hope that she has finally been reunited with her brothers Charlie, Donald, Anthony, Joe and Louie and her sisters, Margaret, Mary, Jeannette, Louise and Pauline. Sylvia was the devoted mother to her four children, Sylvia Ranieri of Waltham, Theodore A. Ranieri of Southborough, Joseph R. Ranieri of Holliston, and Louis L. Ranieri of Needham. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the Carlyle House in Framingham. We will be forever grateful for the special care - kindness and love they have showered on Sylvia these past three years. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16) Wellesley on Friday at March 3 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation prior to the Mass, in the funeral home, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham. For directions and guestbook, gfdoherty.com. George F.
