Teresa Murphy

75, of Merrimack, NH, died Saturday August 2, 2008 at Northeast Rehabilitation in Nashua, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Murphy was born April 3, 1933 in Waltham, MA and was the daughter of Dennis J. and Delia M. (Keane) O'Brien. She was raised and educated in the Waltham area and was a graduate of Arizona State University. She served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Mrs. Murphy was employed as an Office Manager with Nixdorf Computer Co. and others prior to her retirement. She lived most of her life in Massachusetts prior to moving to Merrimack in 1985. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Joseph L. Murphy in 1987. Members of the family include 2 daughters, Eileen M. Murphy of Merrimack and Maureen E. Tompkins of Georgia, granddaughter Erin E. Tompkins also of Georgia, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Our lady of Mercy Catholic Church 16 Baboosic Lake Rd. Merrimack and burial will be at Last Rest Cemetery of Merrimack.
