SISTER THERESA POND CSJ

Sister Theresa Pond, CSJ (Sister St. Agnes) In her 78th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Sunday, January 28, 2024. Devoted daughter of the late William S. and Mildred (Bouvier) Pond; and loving sister of the late William and James Pond. Sister Theresa is survived by her cherished niece, Margaret Pond Gore; her close friends, John and Mary Hollow and family; and her Sisters in the Congregation. Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Catherine School, Norwood; Sacred Hearts School, Bradford; St. Anthony School, Allston; and St. Brendan School, Dorchester. Sister Theresa was also Director of the Alumni/Development Office at Sacred Heart School, West Lynn, for 17 years, and cherished member of the Sacred Heart Family for 44 years. Visiting Hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA, Friday, February 2, 2024, 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:15 a.m. Burial: All meet at 12:30 p.m. at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, 134 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904.
