BUTTERFIELD, Thomas Lifelong resident of Auburndale, Feb. 8, 2018. Beloved son of the late James J. and Katherine M. (Galvin) Butterfield. Dear brother of Ruth Campbell formerly of Medfield and Falmouth, Catherine Doucette formerly of Falmouth and the late James, John and his late wife Patricia Butterfield. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and one great grand nephew. Thomas served with the Merchant Marine Corps in WWII. Funeral from the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. (Rte. 16), WEST NEWTON, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bernard Church, West Newton, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday evening from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
