Thomas E. Franks
Beloved father of Penelope and Lucinda, and cherished grandfather of Max, Amy, Josh and Luke. Died Oct. 15, 2002. Long time resident of Wellesley and Milford. State Champion Pistol Shooter, Civil War buff, Lepidopterist who caught and collected rare moths and instructed his grandchildren in the art. War hero whose visit to the first concentration camp liberated by W.W. II armies inalterably changed his life. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will take place Thurs., Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m. aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid at West 46th St. and 12th Avenue in New York City.
