McLAUGHLIN, Thomas M. Of Chestnut Hill on Dec 5, 2010. Beloved husband of Sally (Hughes) McLaughlin and father of Brian T. of Newton, Thomas P. of CA and Christian C. of Newton. Brother of Elizabeth "Betty" Cahill of Fairfield CT and the late Patricia DeNatale. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Fri Dec 10 at 10 AM in St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 28 Commonwealth Ave. Chestnut Hill. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Thurs from 5-8 PM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. NEWTON CORNER. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Donations, in lieu of flowers may be made to The American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701. Tom was a Capt in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War flying F-4 Fighter Jets and received the Distinguished Flying Cross with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Silver Star and the Air Medal. He was a graduate of Yale 1968 and Harvard Business School 1977.
