WINSTON, Tom Age 54, of West Roxbury and Grafton, MA, died suddenly on Sunday, July 24, 2022. He was born to the late Patrick and Mary Winston of Belmont, MA and was a proud first-generation Irishman. Tom carried on their legacy of hard work, dedication, and faith in God in all that he did. He served in the U.S. Army after graduating from Belmont High School and then served in the Massachusetts National Guard while attending the University of Massachusetts Lowell for his Bachelor's degree and Fairfield University for his Master's degree. He completed his education at Boston University, receiving his M.B.A. in 2014. Tom spent most of his career in technology, most recently working at Oracle with a team of dedicated and talented peers. Tom leaves behind a strong legacy of friendship, loyalty, and love. He was a devoted husband, dedicated father, and fierce friend. Left behind to carry on his legacy is his wife, Karen Larkin of West Roxbury, MA; his two greatest accomplishments, his children, Connor and Rose Winston of Millbury, MA as well as his two stepsons, Connor and Mather Graham of West Roxbury, MA. Also carrying on his legacy is his sister Patricia (Winston) Bragg, husband Duane Bragg and their son Martin of Andover, MA. Tom leaves behind many cousins and friends who felt like family. Visitation will be Sunday, July 31st from 2-6pm at Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, MA with a Burial Mass at St. Luke's Church, 132 Lexington St., Belmont, MA on Monday, August 1st at 10am. Dearest Tom, this year, like the years before, on Memorial Day, I placed flags in the Massachusetts National Cemetary in Bourne. There were over 77,000 flags placed to honor our veterans. I always think of you when I do that. We all miss you very much. VK

On the Saturday before veterans day, hundreds of us planted 80,000 flags at every grave at Massachusetts National Cemetery. One week later we returned to remove them. I felt Tom's presence. He was dedicated to service to others. Miss you Tom.

I worked with Tom for few years in his team. He was a manager with fatherly figure to most of us where we used to get scolded, cared and spoiled by him. He always used to say that we all are going through an experience together, let's work the way to make this experience pleasant for everyone.

Tom had presence. He was always in the middle of everything. He drew people to him and his orbit. His laughter was infectious and his friendship was warm and genuine. We are all devastated by his loss but privileged to have known him. RIP Tom. You will be dearly missed.
