BURTMAN, Vera Hilda (Crane) Age 98, of Burlington, formerly of Chestnut Hill, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Isadore and Rose Crane. Beloved wife of the late Earl Martin Burtman. Devoted mother of Carol Lert of PA, Nanci W. Burtman of CO, and Charles Burtman and wife Colleen of Billerica. Adored grandma of Stuart Wood and wife Stacia, Andrea Wood, Joshua Baca, Amanda St. John and husband David, Jordan Lert and wife Christen, Devin Lert and wife Danielle, Brianna Huttenlocher and husband Jack, Kyle Burtman, Michaela McLaughlin and husband Greg, and Kierston Burtman. Dear great-grandma of Savannah, Torsten and Smith Wood, Olivia, Roman, Emery and Kenna Lert, Isla and Findlay St. John, Cole, Mason and Brooke Huttenlocher, and Elena and Hailey McLaughlin. Sister of Milton Crane of GA, the late Jack Crane and the late Annette Feldman. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Vera lived a long and spirited life. Throughout her years she enjoyed dancing, playing bridge and her summers in Nantasket. She especially loved baking her very special treats for family and always looked forward to her eternal rest with Earl where she will forever "bake the bagels". Funeral Services at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, BROOKLINE, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 11:30 am. Burial to follow at the Crawford Street Memorial Park, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury.
