WESTON FLINT Obituary
Died April 28, 2013, in London, Ontario, age 90. He was the husband of Noma Flint, father of Robert (Jacqueline), Lucy, and Christopher (Athena), and grandfather of Emma, Grace, and Gray. Born in Boston, he attended Noble & Greenough School in Dedham and Harvard University, where he was captain of the track team. He served with General Patton's Third Army. He represented the First National Bank of Boston in Havana before earning a PhD in Romance Languages at the University of North Carolina. After teaching stints at Dartmouth College and Duke University, in 1963 he directed the Middlebury College Study Abroad Program in Madrid. In 1965 he moved to Canada to head the Department of Romance Languages at the University of Western Ontario in London. A private service, with scattering of ashes, will take place on June 13, 2013.
