Dear Golden Family,
I've been away all last week and just found out now about Will's accidental death. I am crushed to hear that you've lost him. I will always consider Will, Curtis and Corey as three of the nicest young people I had the pleasure of working with at Cohasset Middle School. Will was smart, engaging and a character. Such a pleasure to work with in the classroom and to kid around with in the halls. His smile could always bring one to my own face. Please know that my kindest thoughts are with you all as you go through this difficult time.

will,When I was in second grade we were in the same classroom. That year I had a huge crush on you, and you used to hold my hand in class. I was more nerdy back then, and you always made me feel welcome in a class where I didn't fit in. As the years passed we got separated, and after eigth grade I left Cohasset and went to Notre Dame. I came back to Cohasset my Junior year and was terrified. I hadn't talked to anyone from the school in two years, and I remember crying a lot on my first day. The night before that first day back I thought about all the good memories I had when I was younger, and I thought of you. I was nervous I would come back and never feel comfortable, but ended up making friends and being happy. You always made an effort to say hi, and every time I saw you I thought of the second grade boy that held my hand. Your kindness and caring did not shrink over the years, but instead grew. You were a light in every classroom, a pleasure to see in the halls, and beloved by all. You completely embodied everything a person should be, and I admire you so much for that. I wish we were closer than we were in the later years. Cohasset will never be the same without you, and I will never forget you. It is with the heaviest of heart that we have to say goodbye. Your life will live on through the lives of people who you greatly affected.

Dear Shaun, Jodi, Curtis, Corey and all of Will's family and friends,
It totally breaks my heart to learn of this news. I am very sorry to learn of Will's tragic passing. I totally remember Will playing Lacrosse for the Skippers his Sophomore, Junior and Senior year as I videotaped the home games and did the play-by-play at the same time. His Junior year I created a highlight film of his play that his Mom Jodi hired me to do and that same year Jodi hired me to create the highlight film of his sister Corey in Girls Lacrosse. He was an amazing player winning faceoffs and scoring goals and was a great asset especially when they won the State Title in 2014 his Senior year. His athletic talents at CHS will be remembered and cherished forever by his friends and teammates. Will remains in our hearts forever Please accept my sincere condolences and sympathies. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It takes a village to be Cohasset Strong. Take care and God Bless you all.
