I´ve been thinking a lot about Bill recently. I knew him well in later years and right up until his death. I worked in the nursing home that his wife was in so I saw him daily. I have his typewriter that he gifted to me. On it is written " make it sing". A phrase he would use when he had a good story to run. He is missed. Very missed.
This is a lovely obituary and I´m so glad to see his parting is not forgotten . X

I had the pleasure of getting to know Bill when I was at North Shore Weeklies and he was at the Phoenix. A real gentleman and an inspiration to aspiring writers. My condolences to his family.
