I was a big fan of Bill in my youth. One thing we have in common was that we both pitched a no hitter. Mine was in 1964 when I played with the Weymouth Farm League Redwings. I was 11 years old. Thanks for the inspiration, Bill. I hope to see you on the other side.

Dear Josephine,
Just heard of Bill's passing. We had been friends since we met at the ball park in Medford when we were six years old. Bill brought me and the city of Medford great pride because of his achievements. He will be missed. Love to you and your family.

My condolences to your family. I knew bill in the mid 60's when we worked out at Tufts preparing for a new season. Being from Somerville Bill was always an inspiration and a hero to me. A flood of memories washed over me when I read the news of his passing, but he will always be in my thoughts. I am so sorry for your loss.

To The Monbouquette family,
I have lots of fond memories of "Monbo" coming by the house and talking baseball and sports with my Dad. I loved sitting by and listening in. May he rest in peace and may your memories of your husband and Dad bring you comfort.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences to all of you. Bill was a wonderfully kind and loving friend to us. My father, mother, brother and I got to know Bill in Chicago while he was pitching for the Red Sox. Although we have been out of touch for quite a while, Bill lives on fondly in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you, Bill.

My deepest condolences to the Monbouquette Family on the loss William and may his dearly departed soul rest in peace this day in the house of Our Lord. I remember William (Monbo) from his early years with the Red Sox and the one teaching lesson he gave me on the art of throwing a fast ball during one of his personal tours to the city of Manchester NH. I have never forgotten that Saturday I spent at his clinic and I was able to continue my ball playing days well into the early years of my military career while playing for the US Army team in Germany and at an assignment in Missouri before turning to years of coaching. Bill is going to be missed but not forgotten in the lives of those he managed to touch over his years in professional sports as well as his private life.
