SWEENY, William J. Of Winchester, in Naples, FL, suddenly March 26, 2010. Beloved husband for 43 years to Suzanne (Plante) Sweeny. Loving father to Suzanne Votapka and her husband Glen of Wellesley, Michelle Siebert and her husband John of Syosset, NY, Elizabeth Sweeny of NY, NY, and Nicole Sweeny of Boston. Loving grandfather to William, Emily, Andrew, and Michael Votapka of Wellesley and Kelly, Reilly, and Molly Siebert of Syosset, NY. Devoted brother to the late Thomas J. Sweeny of New London, NH. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St. (Rte. 38) WINCHESTER, on Tuesday, March 30 at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St, Eulalia's Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in William's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, www.americanheart.org. Interment private.
