Nancy and family, Bill is a dear friend to Sandy and me. He was my teacher each Summer for a week of preparation for leading and teaching vacation Bible School all over northern New England. He was a mentor by his example, gentleness and humility. His competence provided a sense of security in ministry. His love for us
was always evident.
I have often quoted him from when he was picking up the girls toys from the driveway and putting the in the garage: "Now I understand what it means where it says: 'When I became a man, I put away childish things'." And will always recall his "pep talk" to us at the end of a week of training when he said:
"Now let's remember we are going out there
to be served, and not to serve ...... no
wait ....".

Love to you all, you have had the greatest parents and examples of Jesus Christ!
