YEE CHEE MOY

1939 - 2025

MOY, Yee Chee Yee Chee Moy peacefully transitioned to her eternal life on August 28, 2025, after a long and fulfilling journey. Born in Toyshan, China, Yee Chee was the last of her siblings to immigrate to the United States. She married her beloved husband, Dick, in Hong Kong before settling in her new home of Boston. A talented and hardworking seamstress, Yee Chee spent her career in Boston's garment industry. Outside of work, her sewing machine was always humming, crafting beautiful clothing for herself and her family. After retiring, Yee Chee moved to the 2Life Communities in Brighton, where she lived for nearly twenty years. There, she embraced an active lifestyle, participating in every activity offered. She was preceded in death by her four siblings; husband, Dick Foo Moy; and her eldest son, William Moy. She is survived by a large and loving family: her daughter, Sally Mahoney; and granddaughters, Jessica and Kristen (Massachusetts); her son, John Moy (Oregon); her daughter, Helen Short; grandchildren, Michelle and Isiah; and her great-grandchildren (Florida). Yee Chee's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Friends and family may pay their respects at a traditional Chinese service Thursday, September 4, 2025, 9 AM to 11 AM, at Wing Fook Funeral Home, 13 Gerard St., BOSTON.
