Barbara O'Neill Obituary

O'Neill, Barbara G., of Braintree, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2020, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 72. Born and raised in Boston, Barbara graduated from So. Boston High School. For over 20 years, she worked as a Toll Collector for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority. A devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Barbara will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Barbara was the daughter of the late Henry and Marguerite (Foran) O'Neill, Sr. Devoted sister of Jeanne Rogers and her husband Robert of Newton, John O'Neill and his wife Chris of FL, Patricia Micaloonis of Braintree, Michael O'Neill ands wife Frances of NH and the late Marguerite Toler and her husband Robert, Henry O'Neill and his wife Patricia, Kevin O'Neill and brother-in-law Paul Micaloonis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Thursday, December 31st from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree. A private Funeral Mass will be held in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130. For directions or to leave a sympathy message for the family,
