Aunt Ellen you will be greatly missed but you are in a better place now. There is no pain and suffering when you are up there. We all know you will be looking down on the whole family. Make sure you tell everyone I said hi.

I will miss you so much nana. I will always treasure and never forget the time I had with you. You saved me and for that I am so thankful. You were such a strong woman and fought for so long. I will never forget you Nana. Words cant describe the sense of loss we all feel. No words can heal the pain we feel from losing you, but we find comfort knowing you are at peace with all your brothers and sisters, and Nana Manning. Words can not explain what you mean to me, and the pain I feel by losing you. You have taught me how to be a good person, a good woman, and most of all, a good mom. You taught me to always put family first and to always stick together and this would keep us strong.
My faith tells me you are in Heaven and all your pain and hurt is gone. But my heart wishes I could have you here longer.
Your legacy is the love you had for everyone in your life. Whether it be family, friend, neighbor. You touched so many lives and we are all better for it.
Your strength and courage, independence and selfless nature will forever be cherished and missed.

I can't even express the loss that this will cause for everyone. Over the years I had so many laughs with your mother. Your mother was always there for everyone even when she was sick. I am sure she is up above sitting around drinking coffee and laughing with her family members. Ellen thank you for always treating me and my girls like family

Words cannot express the sense of loss that will be felt by the passing of this incredible woman. I'm sure most of us would agree that she truly was the "leader" and the "rock" of the entire family. I am grateful to have had her in my life. The only consolation is that she is no longer suffering and is with Nana and the rest of the clan.

Sacrifice for Family. My mom put family first always. My mom was a mom, daughter, sister, aunt, caregiver, family leader and a rock to lean on for her family.
