Esther Rose Risso

92, of Boston's North End peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 14th, at Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. A lifelong resident of Boston, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Almeda (Gifun) Risso. Esther worked for 40 years at the Federal Reserve Bank as a private secretary. She loved to travel and visited many countries, often returning to see them again. Esther was the dear sister of Claire Risso of the North End and the late Richard Risso. She was the cherished aunt of Richard and the late Anthony, and great aunt of Gabriella. Esther is also survived by many loving God-children and friends. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston, on Thursday, October 21st at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Esther's name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
