Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kennedy family.

Fred was the first person we met when we moved to his neighborhood and immediately he made us feel welcome.
He was the best neighbor and friend anyone could ask for! Fred was what made Southie a special place.
His wonderful laugh and easy smile were always there to greet us whether we were coming or going.
Under his watchful eye we always felt safe and protected. He never missed an opportunity to help anyone
who needed it and his generosity knew no bounds. Fred became like family to us because he looked after us just like
we were his. He had the heart and soul of a true Irish gentleman.

Every day we will miss walking out our door into the street and hearing Fred's wonderful voice from above us across the street.
We are comforted in knowing that he is in heaven now
watching over us, forever making sure we are safe.

We love you Fred and will always be grateful for the kindness that you showed us.

Dear Patrick and family,
I am so sorry for the lost of your father. He was a friendly, and welcoming neighbor! I will remember him for his kindness as he plowed out my parking space over the years. And of course how he kept a watchful eye out on the young ladies of O Street! He was indeed a character!! God bless him.
