Words cannot express how saddened my family is to learn of Lisas passing. We just found out today at my Dads appointment at Mass Generals Urology Dept. We were looking forward to seeing her beautiful and cheerful face. We asked for her and were notified of her passing. We immediately shed tears. She always went above and beyond to help us navigate treatment for my Dads condition. We cant imagine how difficult this is for her family and friends. We are at a loss for words right now. We pray The Lords comfort upon all those whose lives she touched. She certainly touched our.

What began as a professional relationship with Lisa, turned into a friendship very quickly because of her outgoing personality. She was extremely efficient in our work atmosphere, but because of her openness, sense of humor, and genuine caring ways we were fortunate to become friends. Needless to say, the news of Lisa's passing was a total shock and still feels very unreal. My sincere condolences go to Lisa's family, friends and mostly to Dr Heney. Lisa, please look over us with that smile of yours. You will truly remain in my heart always.

I am one of the many physicians at the MGH that benefited from the diligence and devotion that Lisa brought to every day she worked. In my office, we have talked together, doctors, nurses, patient care coordinators, case managers, about her unique spirit. Each of us has a story to tell.
Lisa was accessible and highly responsive. She served Dr Heney with extraordinary skill. We knew that Lisa would help us find solutions. When we got her on the phone, her "can do" attitude was enormously reassuring.
Over the years, countless patients have been seen more quickly due to Lisa's advocacy. She understood the need of those in distress to get expert opinion and she always provided a pathway.
We will all miss her cheerful voice. She inspired us all.

Lisa will never be forgotten as a kind, thoughtful, and compassionate woman who assisted me and my family through many years of cancer therapy. She is in our prayers and may God bless her.
