Dear Trisha, Mary, Eileen, Bobby, Frankie and all of your Families.

Your Mom was quite a lady! A few years ago I was visiting, and she heard I was in town. She asked Barbie to stop over so she could see me, and upon my arrival, she had baked me a fresh loaf of Irish Bread because she remembered I loved it! I think about that every St. Patty's Day, which is appropriate, and I will never forget her.

Although it is almost two years since we lost Barbie - the pain is as bad as it was then, I miss my little friend so very much.

There is a poem I memorized when my Dad passed away many years ago. It helped me in my time of grief, and my hope is that it helps you too or at least softens your pain.

We never know what lies ahead from day to passing day.
What God has in his planning, in his wise and wondrous ways.
We never know the reasons why our sorrows have to be.
Why we must lose the ones we love, and need so desperately.
We never know, but we can trust, and faith will help us find. The truths, to those tomorrows, that bring us peace of mind.

Take care of yourselves, and if you are every in Vermont - Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. Always, Brenda
