Paul F. Manning

Of South Boston passed away on July 18, 2021. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Bette" (Brabants) Manning. Devoted father of Michael Manning of Quincy, Robert Manning and his wife Eileen of Wakefield, Brian Manning and his life partner Erica Myrvang of Dorchester, Karen Manning and her life partner Joseph Martell Jr. of Quincy. Loving grandfather of Brenna, Kevin and Michael. Brother of Edward Manning and his wife Marie, Kevin Manning and his wife Bonnie, David Manning and his wife Judy Kelly, Leo Manning and his wife Deborah Marlborough, Christine Dolan and her husband Jack, Roger Manning and his wife Wanda and the late Robert Manning. Son of the late Bartholomew and Mary (Culkin) Manning. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation in the O'Brien Funeral Home 146 Dorchester St SOUTH BOSTON on Friday July 23rd from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Brigid Church 841 East Broadway South Boston on Saturday July 24th at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Paul was retired from the Boston Herald newspaper. He was also a retired member of ILA Local 800 and a longtime member of the South Boston Yacht Club and supporter of the bowling league for the South Boston Special Kids and Young Adults. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Paul may be made to the South Boston Special Kids and Young Adults at PO Box 270731, South Boston, MA 02127.
