Aunt Eddie and Family,
All I can say is your husband, father and our uncle, Uncle Dickie, was "one of a kind" and we will all miss him, his personality, and his devotion to the Laurano family. I hope he is happy now that he is reunited with his parents and brothers and sisters. May he rest in peace.

Aunt Eddie, Ricky, Lynda, Lisa and Joe,

Uncle Dickie personified the SPIRIT of the Laurano Family. He was one of the last true classics and he will always be with us. When I ride through Beachmont past the house I remember as Grandma's, or along Revere Beach I remember him lovingly. My greatest memories are the conversations I had with Uncle Dickie when he visited my father in his last days. He pushed him to get better and never let him lose that Laurano spirit. He told stories of their childhood and stirred memories in my father.

I know you are so sad and I am sad too. This is a tough good-bye for all of us. He is so loved and a chapter is ending. I know that he received a hero's welcome, especially from my mom, because maybe things were getting a bit too quiet on the other side. I know we are all better people because he was in our lives. He was fiercely loyal and he always gave so generously of himself.

I pray now that we all stay strong, especially you Aunt Eddie.

Rest in Peace Uncle Dickie

Your dad is at peace now, and no more pain. He was always so appreciative and kind. He was a very special person I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet.
