Roseann Casper

(Bailey) Of South Boston died peacefully at home Sunday, April 4th, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Francis X. Casper. Devoted mother of Francis Casper and his wife Gigi of Quincy, Joseph Casper (BFD) and his late wife Donna, Michael Casper and his wife Susanna, Thomas Casper and his wife Mona, and Robert Casper (BPD) and his wife Paula, all of South Boston. Beloved Nana to 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Grealish) Bailey. Sister of the late John Bailey, Mary Woods, the late Thomas Bailey, Josephine Ritchie, the late James Bailey, the late Barbara Bailey-Gill, and her special angel Theresa Bailey. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass from the Gate of Heaven Church, 615 East 4th Street, South Boston, Saturday April 10th at 10 a.m. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester, MA. Visitation in the O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street, South Boston Friday, April 9th 4:00PM to 8:00PM.

Roseann was a strong South Boston woman that loved her family, Irish music, Dancing and a good time. She was a founding member of the South Boston Irish American Society and Retired Employee of South Boston High School. Her door was always open with a pot of tea and a goodie at the ready. She will be missed terribly by all.
